  Who, Why, What and Where?
Well, this is my website ... I thought I better have one just to justify having the website address (and because I work in the Internet industry I guess!). Im 27 (well, at the time of writing anyway) and live with my girlfriend Suzanne in Harefield, a village in West London.

After 6th form I studied at the University of Westminster where I managed to Graduate with an Upper Second Class Honours (2:1) degree in Computer Comminications and Networking (BSc).

Who do I work for ?
Well, firstly there is DSNet Hosting Limited which I founded with a friend and now own totally myself. Its a quality small company that provides hosting of servers on the Internet and associated services.

My full time employer - NetInfo Limited with whom I contracted for, did my university placement with and have worked for since 1998 in one capacity or another! I am now the "Network Services Manager" which basically means anything to do with Cables, Servers, Systems and Networks! I spend a lot of time working with one of our major clients in particular - Crossrail - in addition to our other varied clients.

My CV is available on request for specific contract work or if you are just interested! See the Contact page for details on how to get in touch.

Qualifications ...

I also have a lot of experience with ...

  • Extreme Networks Switches
  • Cisco Core Networking Hardware
  • Nokia Hardware
  • Core Routing Protocols - OSPF & BGP
  • Various Internet Services and protocols

What do I do in my spare time?
Well, like many people in my kind of job, Computers and Networking is also a Hobby. I have a nice network of Wireless LAN's, Linux Servers, NAS Units etc at home ... fun to me but boring to you I'm sure.

I have my Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award. I am also qualified with the Basic Expedition Leadership Award (BELA) which led me to the get my Walking Group Leader Award (WGL). I have gained and use these qualifications working as a volunteer for the RBWM Outdoor Education Project in Maidenhead. I am also slowly working towards my BCU Canoeing Coach qualification awards. I have worked with primarily Duke of Edinburgh's Award groups but also local schools etc.
